A different world book day this year:instead of the usual dressing up (much to children’s horror and parents delight) each child in school became an author, illustrator, prop maker or actor.

In groups we collaborated and worked on stories including characters and magical objects that we had created ourselves.

Children then created the props and costumes they would need to tell their story.
