Juniper class have been reading Pinocchio in Whole Class Reading. We have been discussing the story and learning all about Pinocchio's journey to becoming a real boy! The children have answered some questions to show their understanding of the text.

Sycamore pupils have been using their fabulous physics books from the Ogden partnerships physics libraries. They have been working in pairs to explore the different books, summarise the different scientific concepts and find out some fun facts! #ogdenpartnership

Activities available for those in receipt of FSM at Mid Suffolk Leisure Centre over Christmas period

We are very proud to tell you that Darci came 11th in the girls Year 4 cross country finals which were held at Hartismere High School this week. Well done Darci for being our WVP representative in the finals.

Nature Explorers have been busy investigating about Fauna on site and in a woodland. The children worked together to produce an information sheet about their favourite Fauna. The children named their fauna, described its appearance, and stated where it lived and what it ate. They finished off by drawing it too.

Last week Seedlings visited their friends in Acorns class where they enjoyed a day of junk modelling based on the story of Elmer the Elephant, explored colours in the playground then in the afternoon we welcomed Donna from Dramatots, who took the children on a colour journey, using music, dance and our imaginations.

As part of our 'Harleston Goes Crackers' Christmas Market that is being held on Saturday 13th of December, 10am till 4pm. Harleston's Future have been busy creating a children's competition. Collect your booklet from The Green Cupboard or Robinson's Traditional Stationers, visit the named shops and note their item hidden in the cracker and also don't forget to collect your stamp from the shopkeeper too. Once your have found them all, please return your booklet to Robinson's by 3pm on Saturday 13th December. A giant cracker packed with goodies for the winner will be picked at random on Saturday 13th December's Christmas Market.
