Juniper Class had a great day out at Thetford on Friday. We discovered lots about the habitats of the forest. The children were very brave despite the cold!

Sycamore have been tackling long multiplication this week! They have been learning to multiply up to 4 digit by 2 digits. They have been learning about the importance of the place holder and exchanging. A good week of learning.

Thursdays film club in Extended Schools is Walking with Dinosaurs.

Beech and Juniper joined together to become immersed in Roman life for a day. They had the opportunity to act as archaeologists looking at different Roman artifacts, using the knowledge they have gained from their History lessons, to work out what the objects may have been used for and what type of person may have owned them. We had the opportunity to dress up as Roman Legionnaires, test out lots of activities that Roman soldiers would have had to keep them busy at camp. The children were able to try food that Roman soldiers may have eaten, some enjoyed the food, but others were not too keen! Finally, we went outside to become Roman soldiers, taking part in marching, fighting formations and ending with a battle. #school #learning #education #romanempire #romanlifestyle #romanlife #educational
